Article 1
1.      Roosevelt had morphine on him for years which was not easily noticeable
2.      He became terribly ill from an infection in his leg from a rock (infection called malaria)
3.      Both Roosevelt and his son almost died on his trip to the unknown river
4.      On the expedition, one of the men/porters killed another man from being crazy and hungry
5.      Roosevelt saved his son by letting his son save him from dying
6.      Theodore was bit by a snake and almost died if it wasn’t for his boots
7.      Rio Roosevelt was the name of the river
Article 2
1.      Roosevelt lost the election for president after winning on a streak
2.      He had taken a trip to where his son lived, South America, to get his mind off losing
3.      He also joined forces with Candido Rondon and almost died there two and many did not believe they took the trip, also with his son
4.      Roosevelt has a high voice but was almost ignored because he had a great personality and way of speaking
5.      Roosevelt was also shot two weeks before his election but wasn’t hurt because he was wearing thick equipment
6.      November 5, 1912= election day
7.      Woodrow Wilson won the election
Article 3
1.      Had 4 siblings= Theodore Jr., Ethel, Archibald, and Quentin and a step brother
2.      Kermit was engaged to Belle Willard, and after the trip in 1914 he married her
3.      Kermit Roosevelt= October 10
4.      1889 – June 4, 1943-  Kermit shot himself
